Today’s Gift Idea: Meteorite Jewelry

What do you get the person who has everything?  How about jewelry made from 5,000 year old chunks of rock from outer space? That’s right! This year, forget the diamonds and get that special someone some meteorite jewelry  The beautiful sterling silver necklace pictured above contains a fragment from the Campo de Cielo Meteorite fall. Found in Chaco Gulamba, Argentina in 1576, these meteorites struck the earth between 4,000-5,000 years ago and had a total mass estimated at over 100 tons. They are truly beautiful and educational!
