Today’s Gift Idea: Saturn V Lego Set
This year, we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing! This year, you can honor that event and bring hours of joy to someone with the NASA Apollo Saturn V LEGO set. This one meter long (approximately 1:110 scale) replica of the Saturn V rocket includes 3 removable stages (first, s-ii second, and s-ivb third), a Lunar Orbiter, a Lunar Lander, and a splashdown craft. It even comes with 2 astronaut minifigures and a book about the Apollo Moon missions! LEGO recommends the set for builders older than 14, and at 1,969 individual pieces, the replica will take a bit of patience and time to assemble. But this is LEGO. It ain’t rocket science!
